What motivated you to want to become a Missouri FFA officer?

I wanted to serve the Missouri FFA to give members someone to relate to. Growing up in a suburban area just outside of Kansas City, I wasn’t afforded the opportunities that other FFA members were given. With that, I would like to show members that you don’t have to have a “perfect” FFA career to be successful in agriculture.

What legacy do you most want to leave with Missouri FFA members during your year of service?

I want to leave members with a feeling of inclusion through Missouri FFA. I want every single FFA member regardless of background to feel equal and included within this organization.

What are your plans for the future?

My plans for the future are to be a successful agriculture instructor and to teach youth the importance of agriculture.

What is something unique or interesting that few people know about you?

I was a competitive swimmer and diver through high school.

Advice to FFA Members

Live in the moment, do not regret the past, or worry about the future.
