I have an SAE in Agriculture Communications where I create stories for National FFA and produce other agriculture content for my social media platforms. I also have an SAE in Beef Production – Entrepreneurship where I manage a few head of beef Angus and work around the farm in order to provide for our cattle.
I wanted to be a Missouri FFA State Officer because of how much previous state officers impacted me. State officers have always been some of the most influential people in my FFA journey. Whether they gave me advice, taught me a new skill, or even just danced with us, I know how much it impacted my journey. Therefore, I knew I wanted to be that same influence, which led me in my decision to run for state office.
This year, I want to make sure members truly find themselves and learn to let go of the fears that hold them back. We all have traits that make us who we are, and we all have something we bring to the table. Sometimes fear holds us back because we fear failure or what others will think. I want members to learn to drop fear and remember to embrace who they truly are as a person. I hope they learn how to use their passions and traits to further their futures and find something they truly love.
I plan on pursuing a career in agricultural communications through content creation. I’ve always loved expressing my creativity, and I do this best through the form of media. Even more, I want to use this skill and passion to further the future of agriculture.

Take that Nike slogan seriously, and “just do it.” We all have dreams, and the only way we reach them is by actually doing something about them. Whether it’s doing a speech, running for office or starting that SAE, throw away fear and just do it.
