SAE Project:

Currently, I manage two SAE projects. My  primary Entrepreneurship SAE involves raising Red Angus calves on my family’s farm to be marketed and sold the following year. I also contribute to the farm through a Placement SAE where I am responsible for the mowing and upkeep of various properties.

Why did I want to serve as a Missouri FFA State Officer?

My desire to serve as a Missouri FFA State Officer sourced back to my own experience in FFA. I desperately wanted to be a return on investment to this organization. However, more than that, I wanted to show members that it is possible to be involved in and advocate for an industry you love, while not knowing all of the correct answers about it. Through the platform Missouri FFA provides me, I hope to be a bridge of knowledge for members across the state.

What legacy do I want to leave?

When my time serving Missouri FFA members draws to a close, I hope I left a legacy to love others in everything you do.

What are your plans for the future?

My future plans are to work in agricultural journalism.

What is something unique or interesting that few people know about you?

An interesting fact that many don’t know is that I got a double stress fracture in my back at the age of twelve during a gymnastics meet.

Advice to FFA Members

My advice to FFA members is to be unapologetically yourself no matter who you are surrounded by, choose to love those around you, and take the initiative to ask questions when you are uncertain.
