SAE Project:

I have three main SAEs that I pour my heart into. My favorite is my Equine Ownership, which started long before my FFA career, as I have had horses my entire life. With this SAE, I breed, train and show my herd of horses. My second SAE is in Agricultural Services. I offer riding lessons and offer horse training services to help people with their horses. My final SAE is Goat Production. I have a herd of breeding goats, which I use to produce quality show animals for youth to show.

Why did I want to serve as a Missouri FFA State Officer?

Through all of my FFA experiences, I have been lucky to have met amazing mentors that have helped me no matter what I’m facing. These incredible people inspired me to pursue a state office position to inspire other members to try new things and always give their all!

What legacy do I want to leave?

I hope to leave a legacy of inspiration and drive for other members to look to whenever they need a boost of motivation.

What are your plans for the future?

My future plans are to graduate from State Tech and then effectively run an equine boarding and breeding facility or continue my education to become an agricultural educator.

What is something unique or interesting that few people know about you?

I love to crochet! I started crocheting when I was very young because my grandma wanted to teach me. I never liked it until my grandma was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. My grandma lost her battle in March of 2023 and ever since then, I have made time to crochet, and I have gotten really good and make all kinds of animals for my family!

Advice to FFA Members

In life, you will meet three kinds of people. Group A will tell you that you can’t do it. Group B will tell you that you can do it. Group C will help you do it. All of these people are necessary for you to succeed in anything you decide to do. So let Group A fuel your drive. Let Group B build your confidence. Let Group C help you succeed. No matter what you choose to do, do it with full effort, and you will never fail.
