Thanks to our friends at the Missouri Farm Bureau!

  1. True or False: MOFB selects a male and a female ambassador every year to represent the state of Missouri. These ambassadors receive a scholarship and a trip to Washington D.C., as well as have a chance to be a face for the organization and help at various events. (https://mofb.org/education/youth-leadership/)
  2. Where would you find past accomplishments of Missouri Farm Bureau Policy making? (https://mofb.org/education/youth-leadership/)
  3. Members have an opportunity to have their opinion heard and voted upon in the policy development process. Missouri Farm Bureau’s issues are created solely by their members. Missouri Farm Bureau represents rural Missourians on both the state and national levels. What is this commonly called? (https://mofb.org/policy-development/)
  4. Who was the first state Farm Bureau and when were they founded? (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BxgGcRbb_6o)
  5. Each year high school students spend a day at the home office in Jefferson City. Students are able to tour the state capital, speak with elected officials, and hear from speakers on important agriculture issues and topics. What is this day called? (https://mofb.org/education/youth-leadership/)

To participate in the Scavenger Hunt, keep track of the answers to the questions listed at the end of each workshop. At the end of the Show-Me Summit experience, you’ll have the opportunity to submit those answers to be eligible to list the 2020 Show-Me Summit as a State Activity on all Missouri FFA Award Applications!
