Agricultural Education

Audrey Martin
SAE Project

I have a show pig operation, cow/calf herd, and run my own lawn mowing business.

What do you hope to accomplish during your year of service to Missouri FFA?

I hope to engage younger members and help to kick start their FFA career. I get excited thinking about new members and want to help them have the best experience in the organization possible.

What or who motivates and inspires you and why?

My family is heavily involved in FFA and in agriculture. Knowing that I get to continue tradition and carry on a family legacy is what inspires and motivates me to stay focused and energized about FFA.

What are your plans for the future?

I plan to obtain my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in agricultural education. I then hope to become a high school agriculture teacher!

What is something unique or interesting that few people know about you?

I am related to four agriculture teachers, and I want to become one, too!

Advice to FFA Members

Network and build friendships with as many other FFA Members as possible. You will see them at many different FFA events, and it will allow you to draw encouragement and inspiration from one another. After all, we are a FFAmily!
