To apply, Missouri students must fill out the National FFA SAE Grant application. A member will only be eligible to receive one grant (NFFA or MOFFA) and ALL APPLICATIONS must go through the NFFA system. Applications will close Nov. 15. You can access the application through the Application Center on  For more information, see the flyer and grant descriptions. All grant applications are due Nov. 15.

The Missouri state grants are made possible through the generous support of the MFA Inc. Charitable Foundation and Smithfield Foods. We are grateful for their support of our youth in agriculture. (Please note, the MFA Foundation will not accept direct applications for SAE grants this year. All Missouri SAE grants will be awarded by the Missouri FFA Foundation and must go through the NFFA application system.)

The Missouri FFA Foundation is excited to offer the first Learning by Doing Grants to agriculture education teachers in Missouri. Teachers can apply for up to $500 in funds to enhance instruction in production agriculture, agri-business, or other areas that support a rural lifestyle. Enhancements may include but are not limited to the purchase of new lab equipment, machinery, supplies, curriculum or other teaching resources; modifications to existing lab equipment, machinery or facilities; implementation of innovative programming for students; or anything else that will enhance agriculture education.

The 2022 grants are supported through the generosity of Growing America’s Farmers and the Rural King Foundation. For this round of funding 13 grants of up to $500 each will be awarded.
